Writing with FaithGrowing up, this question would no doubt have garnered a simple “yes” from me. Up until the time that I was a freshman or sophomore in high school, I listened to nearly entirely “Christian” music, read many “Christian” books, and was a regular at “Christian” bookstores. When I wanted to start listening to Enya, my mother questioned me about the music’s redemptive value (to use the proper Reformed terminology). Well that obviously turned out to be quite a slippery slope since today I listen primarily to heathen music, rarely delve into “Christian” books, and avoid “Christian” boo Writing with Faith

For OnceI’m tired of life passing me by   And not knowing how to do anything differently.  Wearied by sitting by;   Sprinting ahead just to keep up.  Sometimes I imagine I’ve just about had enough;  Sometimes I fancy I’ve had more than my fair share.   
For once I want to pull off your mask   And see the demons inside.  For once I want to look in the mirror and discover strength;   I want to stand on my own two feet and not feel the earth tremble below.  Walking the straight and narrow   Sure would be nicer with a little company.

Every once in a while I run across some old poetry I've scribbled down on a notepad and think to myself: This is why I write narratives! All the poetry I write is either unreasonably sentimental or unreasonably defeatist and depressing.

My photos are in the family computer at home! I haven't had the oppurtunity to transfer my old stuff yet. :-( I really want to because I know I had more stuff to post up here. And I need to figure out what editing program I am going to use on my laptop.

But I'm glad to hear that they're missed. ;-)
